FOKUS on Architecture, Inc. was founded by Eckhard K. Fennig, AIA/RAS in 2004.  Mr. Fennig draws upon extensive experience of practicing Architecture with firms in Chicago, Illinois, and El Paso, Texas since 1979, to provide his firm with a solid base of architectural knowledge and expertise.  This experience includes Municipal, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Educational, Restaurants/Food Service, Hotels, Gaming Facilities, and Multi-Family Housing Design.

FOKUS on Architecture, Inc. provides clients with a full range of architectural design and construction related services for projects of small to medium scope such as Site and Building Design, Space Planning, Interior Design, Project Management, Construction Documents, Specification Writing, Product Research, Construction Administration, Fast Track Construction, Feasibility Studies, Budget Establishment, Code Analysis, and ADA Review and Consulting and Research and Analysis on facilities in Code Compliance Feasibility and Life Safety.

FOKUS on Architecture, Inc. emphasizes and promotes active communication with the Owner and User groups, and encourages their full participation in the project from preliminary design to final completion. The exchange of information by frequent meetings, the preparation of written reports and documentation of decisions, and actions taken on time-sensitive issues, is crucial to the successful completion of a construction project. The majority of our projects are from repeat clients whom we serve on their everyday needs and requirements to ensure successful operations of their facilities and the people they serve.

Our project experience includes new construction, additions and remodeling, and the renovation of existing buildings. Our staff utilizes the latest versions of Autodesk software including Revit and BIM applications as well as other 3D modeling applications for visualization and analyzing purposes. It is our stated goal to provide our services in a timely manner, within budget, and with a minimum of Change Orders. Previous experience on numerous local construction projects has enabled us to develop a familiarity and effective working relationship with our consulting engineers, contractors, and the sub trades.
