Eckhard Fennig
AIA, RAS, APA
Eckhard Fennig commenced his career in Architecture in Chicago, Illinois in 1979. Relocating to El Paso, Texas in 1990, he continued his professional growth by working primarily in the capacity of Lead Designer or Project Manager on a wide diversity of architectural projects. In 2004, Eckhard Fennig established “Fokus on Architecture”, founding the firm on a solid base of knowledge of design, project management, construction administration, familiarity with Local, State and National Building Codes, ADA and Texas Department of State Health Services requirements.
Prior to the formation of FOKUS on Architecture, Inc., for the preceding twelve years, Mr. Fennig was Vice President, Chief Architect, and Project Manager with a medium sized architectural firm specializing in healthcare, institutional, commercial, and educational design, and located in El Paso, Texas.
Eloisa McGill
AIA, RAS, APA
Eloisa McGill commenced her career in Architecture in El Paso, TX in 2014. She started at Fokus as a summer intern, and was re-hired after graduating from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. A native El Pasoan, she continued her professional growth by working her way up within the Fokus office eventually becoming a Designer and Project Manager for a wide variety of projects. Upon becoming a Registered Architect, she became a partner and principal at Fokus on Architecture, Inc. in 2024. She continues the firm’s 20 year legacy of knowledgeable design, project management, construction administration, familiarity with Local, State and National Building Codes, TAS, ADA, and Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) requirements.
